At weddings, it's usual for close family and friends of the bride and groom to deliver speeches, but at actor Salman Khan's sister Arpita's recently concluded nuptials, guests heard from the bride.

The Times of India reports that Arpita Khan Sharma wrote a few words for her brothers Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan and her parents Salim Khan, Salma and Helen. Arpita asked actress Priyanka Chopra to read the speech out on her behalf, dreading that she'd break down if she read it herself. 

In her speech, Arpita said that she was blessed to be a part of the Khan family and praised her brothers, whom she referred to as her "pillars of strength". The report, quoted Arpita as saying, "I am the luckiest girl to be brought up in a family like mine. Sohail bhai and I shared the same room until he got married - he's like a friend to me. Arbaaz bhai is like my guide, he always told me what's good and what's bad. Salman bhai though, has the biggest heart. For him, I can do no wrong. Everything I did, he was there to support me."

Arpita was adopted by Salim Khan when she was very little. She is the youngest of the five Khan siblings and doted on by her elder brothers and sister Alvira. (Also Read: Katrina Kaif Gets a Kaleera From Arpita Khan)
Arpita married businessman-aspiring actor Aayush Sharma in a lavish ceremony in Hyderabad's Falaknuma Palace on November 18. The wedding was attended by Bollywood biggies like Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar, apart from Priyanka. Telugu star Ram Charan Teja and tennis ace Sania Mirza were also present. A reception is reportedly planned in Mumbai on November 21.

Ads call Madonna's new movie "the erotic thriller of the year." But anyone under age 17 can see the pop star bare her breasts and make steamy love to Willem Dafoe in "Body of Evidence"--if they are accompanied by an adult. It's rated R.

On the other hand, the movie industry's toughest warning to parents was given to the upcoming "Wide Sargasso Sea," an art-house film that has only modest lovemaking scenes compared to "Body of Evidence" or last year's R-rated "Basic Instinct." The lovemaking only occurs after the couple is officially married--an unusual situation in today's movies. But the film has one very quick distant shot of male frontal nudity. For that, the filmmakers say, the movie was made off-limits for children and given the NC-17 rating.

Last week, first-time director Jennifer Lynch's film "Boxing Helena" received an NC-17 recommendation. The movie is a graphic story about a woman whose arms and legs are amputated by her doctor after an auto accident, and then lives in a box. The film has two sex scenes.

"All I can do is look to see the content of other films that got an R rating, like 'Basic Instinct.' And my film 'Boxing Helena' doesn't nearly go as far as that one did," said producer Carl Mazzocone.
